Search Engine Optimisation

It's rare that Fat Heads will design and develop a website without being asked about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). There is no hard and fast way to guarantee top search engine rankings, this is a fact. There are, however, many valid techniques and best practices to ensure your website is more visible and easily read by search engine robots.

Good design equals good optimisation - making a well coded site with compelling content will ensure good rankings. Fat Heads implement a lot of best-practice, 'white-hat' techniques when developing websites to make sure that search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN read and understand the site's structure correctly.

All pages on our websites will be designed with correct Metadata for optimum Search Engine Optimisation to take place. These will include dynamic keywords, heading tags (H1, H2 etc.) tags in your source code and also XHTML/CSS valid.

Testimonials

  • Pete Fitzpatrick, PR Manager, Treasure Island "The team at Treasure Island Soft Play Ltd are delighted with Fat Heads contribution to Treasure Island's corporate identity in print and online. They have taken our brief & developed some great characters that fit perfectly into to our strategy. We have had some great feedback already from our Facebook friends – we can’t wait to see the finished website. A big Thank You to Rick & Sean."
  • Terri Holt, Office Manager, Six Recruitment "Having had difficulties with a previous web design company, Fat Heads stepped into the breach and made it all happen. We are very pleased with the web site and have had a number of extremely complementary calls from clients and candidates. On a personal note, I would like to thank the team for their patience when dealing with someone who is not really the best person to manage a site. Through a period of specialist training which involved knowledge sharing and patience I have learned a lot."
