PSW Consultants product guide

The project

PSW Consultants Ltd, based in Nuneaton, are an international piping equipment manufacturer and needed a simple but stylish brochure to highlight their range of products.

PSW were able to supply digital photography of their heavy machinery and equipment but asked Fat Heads to manipulate the images to compliment their wish for a crisp, clean look to the page layout.

The brochure required a separate section for their American partner's (Mathey Dearman) products and also needed to be durable as it would be handled regularly on shop floors.

Fat Heads, who had already created a new brand identity and logo for PSW, came up with a simple but effective design that gave major focus to the products on display. The page layout utilised a clean white background and linear text columns to contrast with and emphasise the colourful, 'cut-out' product photos.

The separate section for the Mathey Dearman products uses a colour scheme reflective of their brand but maintains a consistent look to the rest of the brochure. A black, gloss cover was chosen to prevent the brochure from becoming noticeably dirty and scruffy when handled constantly in a shop-floor environment.
