The project

Designing the logo was the first step in a major re-branding project for City Desk Manufacturing. The logo was to be used by the West Yorkshire office furniture manufacturing firm for their forthcoming website and printed product guide as well as various direct mail and e-marketing campaigns. Fat Heads, over a series of consultations with City Desk, selected this logo from a pool of designs.

City Desk were keen to distance themselves from their previous blue 'cityscape' logo as they felt it said 'industrial' and 'pollution' and were keen too stress their leanings towards being environmentally friendly. Fat Heads changed the colour-scheme to a bright orange. The 'sun' symbol that adorns the design fuses the images of a screw-head with a meeting table and chairs.
