The project

Having the opportunity to develop the hospitality and events website for a Premier League football club was a remarkable moment for Fat Heads and a great indication of how far we had come as a business. So when Altrincham-based advertising and creative company, if agency, invited us to develop the Britannia Stadium website for Stoke City F.C. in partnership with them we leapt at the chance.

Following a series of successfull meetings at the Britannia Stadium we were able to get a good idea of how the Club wanted to use the site to promote their hospitality services and venues. The site needed to focus on four key areas: matchday hospitality, events, conferences and weddings. There was also a requirement to provide news, coming events and a multi-contact feedback form to direct enquiries to the correct recipient.

Using the design template outlined by if agency we were able to develop the site structuring it into three levels. Firstly, the home page which makes use of scalable banner images to direct the visitor to their required key service. Secondly, the landing page for each of the four key services with unique testimonial banners, submenu, relevant news, events and call to action such as brochure downloads. Thirdly, the individual article pages with links back to other relevant areas of the site.

A full bespoke content management system (CMS) allows the Club to add, edit and remove the content of the site themsleves including images, thumbnails, PDF downloads and videos.

Another great feature of the site is the integrated 360 degree virtual tours of the stadium's executive boxes, conference facilities and wedding suites.
