They think it's all over...

We were approached by FansBet who required a stylised new brand to commemorate the kick-off of the 2018 World Cup finals. FansBet would use this appearance for all their promotional content surrounding the event. 

Using the host nation of the tournament Russia as the foundation, we incorporated identifiable features such as Cyrillic style typography, recognisable colours and distinctive illustration to create a brand that gave their customers an immediate link to the World Cup. 

This brand new look was used throughout the summer on various collateral, from social media promotion to TV adverts and beer mats.

We illustrated various pieces of iconic architecture from each of the host cities to create a background that served as a unifying feature throughout the brand.

For each participating country, we curated illustrated team packs which contained the following assets:

  • Player
  • Flag
  • Current Kit
  • Background

This allowed for each promotion to be easily stylised to the matching player or country.

We created a variety of templates that could be used across all of the FansBet social channels. These were used for advertising match specials, new offers, fantasy football amongst other updates.  

It was important that any World Cup content stood out and was distinguishable from other general FansBet posts, as the company was still promoting other areas of its business content such as Horse Racing throughout the World Cup promotion.
